The number of exhibitors will grow like an avalanche

Erhan Ozmen, President of Association of Southeastern Flour Industrialists’

Welcome friends, who come from all over the world. Today, we have happily participated in a beautiful wedding setting together for an organization that has been preparing for two years. Welcome.

You are in one of the youngest countries in the world. You are in a giant country of 80 million with an average age of 29. This country has huge potential. As you know, this country has become a major contributor to world flour trade for the last five years. On the other hand, machine technology among our industries... Turkey’s machinery industry has great potential. This sector is performing 10 percent of Turkey’s total exports. They reached an export volume of $ 16-17 billion.

Until Google emerged, the most difficult thing in the world was information. The most difficult subject was knowledge. Access to information became easier after Google emerged. Now the most difficult thing in the world is to reach a dialogue with people, product, customer and the world. However, thanks to this kind of services, a significant organization is gathering involving both the producer and the consumer. And here, the name of this service is Parantez Fair and IDMA. I am talking about a family that has specialized in this sector for 16 years, traveling around the globe and doing its job with passion.

Today, when you look at the point where Germany, a world giant, reached there is a very magical topic underneath. Germany is a country that reaches 4 trillion dollars in gross domestic product. Its population is 83 million. Almost the same with Turkey. Do you know what they have done? One day they decided to support specialization in Germany. They chose 1307 companies. They said to those 1307 companies that everyone should operate in their own field. The service sector, automotive sector, white goods, chemistry, agriculture and so on. Everyone says they need to specialize in their field. Do you know what happened? Nobody violated anyone’s field. The selected companies, those 1307 champion companies, carry Germany to the top of the world.

Dear friends, I congratulate Parantez Fair Organization with my heart. Parantez Fair Organization has specialized in these fair organizations. It brought over 200 companies from all over the world today and I think it will grow like an avalanche. I strongly believe that these works, which are supported by the entrepreneurial Turkish sector, will achieve even more successful projects. I congratulate them. May God speed them. You are all welcome.

Congratulations to the Parantez Fair once again  Abdulkadir Kulahcioglu, Turkish Pasta Industrialists Association President

We are proud to participate in IDMA

Ahmad Zaki Fazlı, Director of Nangarhar Afghan Agriculture Training Center

We are working for agricultural products in Afghanistan. We feel proud to participate in this exhibition. Last year [the year before] we were here again. This is the second time we are participating in this exhibition. Last year we have planned to establish the factories of these machineries in Afghanistan. So, we did a lot of things about these machineries. And we have planned to purchase machinery by the representatives of Afghanistan companies. We have planned to do something next time for our country because we need this machinery, these technologies because we do not have these areas and machinery in our country. Again I want to thank you so much for inviting us to this exhibition.

IDMA 2019 has more diversity than ever before Ahmad Al-IssaGeneral Company for Grain Processing Iraq

I am Ahmed Al Issa from General Company for Grain Processing Company in Iraq. It is my pleasure to be with you today. First of all, I would like to thank the founder of the IDMA Exhibition, especially Ms. Zubeyde, for making this great opportunity to gather us with all these companies and the technology. I think IDMA 2019 has more diversity and comprehension than ever before. So, I hope enjoy and get benefit and achieve all technical ambitions we have through the next four days. So thank you and have a wonderful exhibition.

IDMA is one of two specialized trade fairs in this sector Prof. Dr. Mustafa BayramPresident of Association of Grain and Pulses Processing Technologies, Storage and Analysis Systems (TABADER)

Dear friends, you are all welcome. We were here again about two years ago. We were together again. Fortunately, there are such nice organizations that we can at least see each other. We can see where technology is going. IDMA is one of two specialized trade fairs in this sector that I can follow in the world. It has been a sustainable organization. That’s the original magic word. It has been doing this very well for 16 years. I thank all those who contributed to it. This sector is an interesting sector. Recently I was wondering something. I asked as the sector how much of the world we are feeding. Approximately 55 percent of people are dependent on this sector. In other words, the grain and pulses sector still has a share of 55 percent in people’s nutrition. So we are talking about an immense sector. And we are talking about a strategic sector. And this sector is an interesting sector. This sector is as old as human history. If we talk about a history of about 1.5 million years, let’s deduct 500,000 years. Since the beginning of this 1 million-year-old human history, humankind has produced cereals, grains, legumes, pulses. In the last ten and twenty thousand years, it has skyrocketed this technology. And in the last 300 years, we have actually made the first designs of many machines you will see in this fair. And today, in the era we are now, the industry began to enter the Industry 4.0. For this reason, fairs that represent such sectors are crucial and strategic fairs. This is actually not just coming together. This is a kind of well-thought-out organization to trigger technology. In this context, again welcome to our country. Welcome to Istanbul. You came here on a beautiful day. I’m already inviting you to meet here two years later. Thanks. Welcome again.

We are honored to participate in IDMA Turhan SemsiVice President of Romanian National Association of Millers and Bakers

I am the vice president of the Romanian Association of Millers and Bakers. And between Romania and Turkey for years there has been our great relationship on this technology. Active millers in Romania have imported at least 80 percent of their technology from Turkey. Until today, not only millers, but also in the biscuit technology and the industry, and also in the pasta industry, these technologies have been imported. Thank you for inviting us to this fair and we are honored. Thank you, may you live long!

We came to IDMA with a large delegation Mahmoud RiyadSecretary General of Egyptian Milling Association

As you know, Egypt is one of the largest wheat consumers all over the world. That means wheat flour is very important to our people. For that reason, we established Egyptian Milling Association to serve the millers in Egypt and give them knowledge about how to mill and flour which is very important to Egyptians to making bread. As you know, bread is life. Egyptian Milling Association was founded on 1996 to serve the millers in Egypt and the milling industry. The target of our association is to provide training. At the same time, we publish Milling Industry Magazine. We also organize workshops and exhibitions. We are proud to participate in IDMA for the second time. We are also proud to be here in Turkey because we love Turkey so much because there are historical relationships between Egypt and Turkey. Many people in Egypt are of Turkish origin. Egyptians participate in this exhibition with four companies. And we came to Istanbul with a large delegation to participate in that important event. Besides, these exhibitions open many opportunities to meet the flour producing specialists from Turkey which is the global leader in flour production and trade. We are proud and participate in and visit your exhibition. Thank you very much.

We can increase the trade volume between Mali and Turkey Moussa Coulibaly, Mali-Turkey Business and Orientation Center President

I have been to IDMA Exhibition before and it was very nice. I’m president of the delegation from Mali. I hope we will do good things together. First, the IDMA Exhibition organizers, their partners, all participants, and especially the Republic of Turkey Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, thank you very much. I also thank all the Malian businessmen who trusted in me. I would like to specify that the friendship and cooperation between Mali and the Republic of Turkey have continued for years in a very nice way. At the same time, the two countries show a common will for the mutual evaluation of economic opportunities. It was actually a long time ago that steps towards the friendship and cooperation were taken first. The Commercial, Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement signed in 1999 is the most obvious and significant example of this. Since then, bilateral relations in economic and political terms have become increasingly cordial. In 2014, the trade volume between the two countries increased to 43 million dollars. However, this figure is far below the real potential. I believe we can increase the trade volume between the two countries to $500 million, and I trust the heads of state for this target. The main motor power in this process will undoubtedly be the private sector and our valuable businessmen. Thank you so much.

IDMA to strengthen business relationship within our countries Suncica Savovic, Secretary General of Serbia Grains Association

It is my immense pleasure to address you all and to see you in such a big number at this industrie’s significant event. My name is Sunchica Savovich and I am representing Association Serbia Grains whose member companies are responsible for up to 90 % of Serbian grains, oilseeds and products exports on annual basis and whose delegation is visiting IDMA fair this year in the frames of Buyer mission programme organised from the side of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade but what is of the equally high importance thanks to having the honor to be recognized as important participant at IDMA Fair from the side of the Parantez group. I am delighted to be here and to be given this opportunity to thank to the Parantez Group as organizer of this important agribusiness event which, hopefully, will strengthen among rest, long term business relationships between our two countries with hopes that all meeting here today will have successful results.

We are witnessing great changes in the milling industry in Ukraine

Rodion Rybchinskiy, President of Union Millers of Ukraine

I would like to express my gratitude to Parantez Company that is organizing our meeting today. I would like also to emphasize that the Ukrainian delegation practically haven been participated in all the exhibitions that have been organized by Parantez Company. And for the last three years we have been participating with a bigger delegation which includes Ukrainian millers. And we are witnessing great changes in the milling industry in Ukraine thanks to Turkish machinery and Turkish equipment. And I would also like to tell you that most of the milling plants and different facilities that have been constructed in Ukraine in recent years are equipped with Turkish machinery and equipment. We are using the experience of our Turkish colleagues in production and exporting flour and different products. And I can tell you that we are now very well presented in different markets all over the world. And specials thanks goes to the association of Turkish millers and milling companies because we have got a very good level of cooperation. We have been cooperating for many years already and I would like to thank you for your openness in relationship with us. We are very happy that we have got such good relations with your national association. I would like to thank you once again, all the organizers for inviting us and organizing such an interesting meeting and I wish you good health.
