The first major contract for Henry Simon roller mills to Oceania

Satake Australia Pty. Ltd., a subsidiary of Satake Corporation, announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with Laucke Flour Mills Pty. Ltd (Laucke) to supply and install a significant upgrade of its facilities at Bridgewater in Loddon, Victoria. This is the first major contract of Henry Simon roller miller after the rebirth of the brand in Australia and Oceania. The contract will allow Laucke to achieve 250mt/24h capacity grain milling on hard wheat and 220mt/24h grain milling capacity on soft wheat. “We are very much excited that Henry Simon roller mills are well appreciated by Laucke and looking forward to deepening our relationship with Oceanian Flour milling customers,” said Satake Australia. In 2017, Satake Corporation and Alapala announced the rebirth of the Henry Simon range of flour milling equipment. From its inception in 1878, Henry Simon of Manchester, England has always been known as an innovator and a driving force in the milling industry. Making Henry Simon brand active again after the strategic partnership between Satake and Alapala has allowed both companies to expand their horizon. Benefiting from the powerful organizational structure of Satake which has manufacturing and sales centers in 11 countries consisting of Japan, USA, Brazil, UK, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, and Australia; Alapala/Satake now have closer direct contact with investors in a wider marketplace.
