Silos Córdoba has commenced the assembly of a new state-of-the-art silo facility at the strategic Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, United Arab Emirates — the largest man-made port in the world and a critical logistics hub for the Middle East. The new project marks a significant step forward in the company’s ongoing international expansion.
The facility features four hopper silos, strategically installed in the space between existing concrete silos. Two of the new silos offer a storage capacity of 240 cubic meters each, while the remaining two accommodate 380 cubic meters each.
Designed with versatility and efficiency in mind, the new silo plant will serve a dual purpose:
- Handling residual grain from the current concrete silos.
- Blending various grains for feed mill operations, with the help of advanced grain handling equipment equipped with variable frequency drives (VFDs) — also supplied by Silos Córdoba. This technology ensures precision in grain mixing and delivery.

To support operations, Silos Córdoba has also delivered a fully integrated electrical cabinet and SCADA system. The new system will be connected to the client’s central SCADA platform, enabling centralized control, enhanced efficiency, and optimized process management.
This installation not only strengthens Silos Córdoba’s footprint in the Middle East but also underlines the company’s dedication to delivering innovative, efficient, and customized solutions tailored to client needs.
