With Samet Taşkın, partner of Or-Taş Milling Machine, who says that one of their biggest advantages is his father's experience in milling and flour sector, we talked about technological solutions Or-Taş provides to millers, innovations they brought to the sector, the company's objectives and new machinery they are developing.

Mr. Taşkın, first of all, could you please tell our readers about OR-TAŞ Milling Machine? What is OR-TAŞ Milling Machine, what do they do and what is their role in the sector? OR-TAŞ was established in 1996, at a small workshop located on a 500 square meter area We are now a corporate firm, which manufactures all kind of milling and feed machines with cutting edge technology at its modern facility of ten thousand square meter, and adopts top quality production and maximum customer satisfaction as a principle with franchises and references in many countries.

As a company, our biggest advantage is our father Bahattin Taşkın's experience of more than 40 years in milling and flour sector His experience in diagram, capacity and flour capacity both guides our customer's and opens up new horizons for us. Also, our main goal is to product top quality product in milling sector with new projects and arrangements in our own flour plant in Konya.

Can you give us some information about your place in the milling industry of Turkey and the world, and your share in milling market? How many countries have you reached and how many turn-key flour mills have you established over the course of 20 years? We have established about 200 turn-key factories and exported products to more than 30 countries. As a company, which proved its name in the sector, our goal is to provide service to our customers as a larger company with a higher brand value.

As far as we know, you also have offices in many countries abroad. What can you tell us about the organizational structure of your company in foreign countries? In terms of representation, our connections in 10 countries are quite good. However, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Uzbekistan and Algeria are among the countries to which we export the majority of our products.

Can you give us some information about OR-TAŞ's services to its customers such as spare part, maintenance, repair, technical support? Thanks to our spare part sales offices in many countries and supervisors from local areas or sent from Turkey, we provide smooth and fast solutions in spare part, maintenance-repair and technical support.

Do you provide training to the personnel, who will work in the production line after the establishment of a factory or machinery set-up? Can you give us some information about your activities in this regard? Of course we provide training programs. Our expert team provide necessary training to our customer's personnel generally 1 months after delivery. Also, we give our customers "Factory Technical Passport" booklet, which is prepared in the language of the relevant country, and indicates the technical maintenance requirements and specifications of all machinery.

Can you give us some information about OR-TAŞ Milling Machine's R&D activities and the budget allocated to these activities? R&D is an essential element of our company. Therefore, we realize all the necessary expenditures without any limitations instead of allocating a budget. Our engineers go to Taşkınlar Mill Plant, which is our own flour mill, and start R&D process on-site in order to improve the performance of machinery and develop new technologies.

Is there any innovation that you have recently put on the market or you will introduce in near future? If so, could you explain the advantages of this innovation? We are preparing to make a breakthrough in the sector, with our new roller model, which we patented and will put on the market anytime soon. We are planning to exhibit our new roller model, which we patented and developed with TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) at IDMA 2017.

First of all, we are promising our customers an innovative, top quality factory, which is equipped with products manufactured with cutting edge technology. In addition to machinery quality, we make significant contributions to our customers in terms of the capacity and quality of the flour obtained as a result of manufacturing processes.
