As portfolio director – a new role for the business – Synkovska will usher in a phase of growth and development for the WIA community. In addition to driving the expansion of the annual flagship Women in Agribusiness Summit, Synkovska and her team will actively engage with the community to shape and evolve the content, networking and event offerings under the WIA umbrella based on customer insight. Synkovska also will expand WIA’s reach nationally and globally.
An experienced producer of global events, Synkovska has directed more than 50 high-profile international agribusiness events. Her most recent role saw her leading Global Grain Geneva and US Biofuels and Feedstocks where her focus was on developing the community engagement and critical value proposition of these events.
Said Synkovska, who is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, “I am truly impressed and inspired by the incredible community that the WIA Summit has cultivated. My focus will be on enhancing the delegate experience, enriching event content and introducing innovative elements, all while preserving the core essence of the event – to empower and inspire women in agribusiness.”
Some of the first things the WIA community can look forward to seeing at the Women in Agribusiness Summit in Orlando, September 22-24, are more robust networking opportunities, tailored matchmaking within job functions, and themed breakout sessions.
“I look forward to working with Svitlana on the growth of the Women in Agribusiness brand,” said Tim Hart, president of Arc network, WIA’s parent company. “This expansion will center around enriching the networking and connection opportunities for attendees, ensured by Svitlana’s proven track record in leading and launching these global events and data products. We are delighted to welcome her to the WIA team.”
