BorsaKonya acquired national dimension

Established for trading of electronic product securities, BorsaKonya Electronic Platform acquired national dimension with the agreements it made. Providing the first Electronic Sales Hall as a model to Turkey to the service of agricultural trade in 2011, Konya Commodity Exchange (KTB) brought a new understanding to the agricultural trade with BorsaKonya Electronic Platform in 2013. BorsaKonya Platform came to agreement on the purchase and sale of Electronic Product Securities (ELUS) with licensed warehouses in Kirikkale, Sivas and Sanliurfa after Mersin via a protocol. So, the storage volume agreed by BorsaKonya Platform increased to 210 thousand tons. Making a speech at the signing ceremony of cooperation of BorsaKonya Electronic Platform, Konya Commodity Exchange Deputy Chairman M. Namik Koklusoy stated that agriculture and agricultural trade is a strategic industry which should be managed with a global perception and emphasized that the quality became prominent for production and speed became prominent for trade together with the globalization of trade. KTB LABORATORY OPENS BRANCH OFFICES Certificated the quality in its activities by being accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency and becoming an international laboratory, Konya Commodity Exchange Laboratory KLD opens authorized classifier laboratories in Sivas and Kirikkale. Speaking at the protocol on opening new branch offices, Konya Laboratuvar ve Depoculuk A.S. Chairman of Board Ramazan Fatih Alaybeyi stated that this is actually the transfer of knowledge and experience and added: “Our laboratory in which all kinds of food, leaves, soil and fertilizer analysis is made, is the standard provider in wheat and wheat flour. It is very important to provide consistency in the analyses together with the development of licensed warehousing. In this respect, this cooperation has been a very important step for the development of the industry.”
