The 5th International TABADER Summit, where critical developments, innovations and production technologies in the milling sector will be discussed, is being held simultaneously with IDMA Istanbul.  The thematic topic of the summit, which will be held in Hall 3 on the first day of the fair, is ‘innovation, technology and future’.

DMA Istanbul, poised as the epicenter of the milling sector, will be the venue for a significant summit. The Grain and Pulses Processing Technologies, Storage, and Analysis Systems Association (TABADER), uniting stakeholders of the Turkish milling industry, will host the 5th International TABADER Summit at the IDMA Fair, set within the Istanbul Expo Center. On the fair’s inaugural day, the summit, themed ‘innovation, technology, and future’, will unfold in the third hall.

At the summit, eminent figures from the global milling industry will serve as panelists, exploring the latest trends, production processes, and future projections within this crucial sector. Renowned experts will share their insights across three sessions titled “New Technologies,” “New Approaches, Trends, and Future,” and “Economy and Logistics.”

The summit’s closing session will focus on “Women’s Strength in Milling.” This dedicated session to women in milling will underscore the industry’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

TABADER is expanding its annual lineup of events this year by introducing the ‘International Grain and Pulses Congress’ alongside its international summit, training program, and veterans’ night. This congress aims to convene scientists, researchers, professionals, and policymakers from across the globe to engage in discussions and knowledge exchange regarding grains and pulses. It will serve as a platform for experts to share their insights, collaborate on research endeavors, and address various challenges and opportunities in the field of cereals and pulses. The congress will cover a wide range of topics including cereals, pulses, storage, quality control, technological advancements, economic perspectives, social dimensions, health considerations, sustainability, agroecology, crop breeding, agronomy, crop management practices, and feed technologies. Furthermore, the presentations delivered at the congress will be subsequently published in the TABADER Academy Journal.
