Women in Agribusiness (WIA) announced the
launch of Women in Agribusiness Global
Summit 2026. The inaugural global event will take place in Amsterdam,
The Netherlands, May 18-19, 2026, at the Postillion Hotel.
WIA Global Summit 2026 will bring together agribusiness senior executives, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and innovators from across Europe, the Americas and MENA to connect, learn and engage with the promise of elevating women across the ag value chain. This event complements the brand’s successful U.S.-focused Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Summit, which is now in its 14th year of being the premier annual gathering place for nearly 1,000 female agribusiness professionals looking to develop their career and build beneficial relationships in the sector.

“Thanks to the success of our U.S. event, there have been calls to host an international summit to provide this connection and learning environment for a global audience of female agribusiness professionals,” said Svitlana Synkovska, portfolio director for Women in Agribusiness, in explaining the genesis for the global launch.
“Additionally, the WIA Global Summit 2026 debut aligns with significant moments in global policy: the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has declared 2026 the International Year of Women in Agriculture; and new EU gender legislation for 2026 will require major companies to implement leadership diversity. This makes the summit timely and critical for exploring these regulatory shifts and their impact on global agribusiness.”
The key event pillars for WIA Global Summit 2026 are:
- Global Agribusiness Leadership
- Policy, Sustainability & Gender Equality
- Networking & Career Development
Attendees will enjoy in-depth presentations by expert speakers on topics such as ag commodities and inputs breakthroughs, logistics and supply chains, ESG initiatives, investments and ag tech opportunities. Also featured will be strategic CEO roundtables, leadership masterclasses and mentorship programs, as well as ample time for networking and site visits across the Dutch agribusiness ecosystem.
“As the agribusiness landscape becomes more interconnected, it’s imperative to ensure that women have a seat at every table, from the farm to the boardroom. WIA
Global Summit 2026 will be that table and serve as a landmark platform to champion gender equality, innovation and leadership within the global agribusiness value chain,” said Synkovska.
