Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister M. Mehdi Eker said in his statement to the press at an event that 22 million tons of wheat harvest is finalized throughout Turkey. Expressing that the wheat and barley harvest in Turkey is better than the previous year, Eker said, “Grain production in Turkey is at a better point this year compared to the previous one. 22 million tons of wheat harvest is finalized countrywide. Harvest is almost finished. There is not any deficiency. On the contrary, there is increase compared to the previous years.”
