Swithun Still to lead Swiss-based grain trader Rolweg

Swithun Still, former president of international trade association GAFTA, is to join Swiss-based grain trading firm, Rolweg S.A., as its chief executive.

“I am excited to announce my appointment as CEO of Rolweg S.A. Rolweg was set up in 2018 as the Swiss subsidiary of the top Turkish miller & flour exporter Ulusoy Un.” he said in a Twitter post.

A well-known figure in the grain industry and former head of Solaris Commodities, Still is active in the Russian/ Black Sea agricultural commodities market since 1999.

He was President of GAFTA 17th January 2019 until 16th January 2020. He is a GAFTA qualified arbitrator and Appeal Board member. He holds a degree in Russian & French from Durham University.
