Petkus acquired Spanish company “Simeza" Silos. With this acquisition, Petkus Engineering GmbH broadened its product portfolio for the grain logistics’ business.

30_82With the acquisition of the tradition-rich Spanish company “Simeza" Silos Metálicos Zaragoza S.L., Petkus Engineering GmbH broadened its product portfolio for the grain logistics’ business. Luca Celeghini, CEO of Petkus Engineering GmbH has taken on the leadership of Simeza. Simeza is known to be a highly qualified partner, who looks back at over 30 years of experience in the grain, flour and industrial product storage business. In Europe, the company is considered as one of the pioneers in silo design, manufacturing and assembly.

While Simeza will continue to independently provide its product program to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, a special silo design to enhance the engineering and turnkey projects of Petkus Engineering GmbH will be added. For their grain division, Petkus Engineering GmbH focuses on practical, tailor made, complete plant solutions and through its turnkey solution team also offers the realization of civil and utility works.
