PerkinElmer acquired Perten Instruments Group AB which is a global leading supplier of advanced analytical instruments for quality control of food, grain, flour and feed.

perten PerkinElmer acquired Perten Instruments Group A, a global leading supplier of advanced analytical instruments for quality control of food, grain, flour and feed, from Valedo Partners Fund AB. Perten, under Valedo’s ownership, since 2010 has doubled in size with successful investments in product development and geographical expansion. PerkinElmer’s commitment to the food quality testing space and presence in complementary markets combined with Perten’s solid market position and leading product portfolio is a true match to intensify a leading position in this sector. Perten, having achieved strong organic growth, today generates an annual turnover of more than EUR 50 million with sales in more than 100 countries. “I am very proud of what Perten has achieved in the market. Since 2010 we have accelerated our efforts to develop and launch innovative products and services and we have significantly expanded our sales and service organization in both existing and new markets.
