Determining its new investment area as storage and conveying solutions, the company started it infrastructure studies in 2015. It also started to serve as Ağaçlı Silo in Aksaray Organized Industrial Zone in 2016. The company which has steel processing capacity of 35 thousand tons per annum in its 100 thousand square meters factory area managed to make a name on short notice despite being a brand new company. Korhan Ağaçlı, CEO of Ağaçlı Silo, is the guest of technology platform of our magazine this month. Mr. Ağaçlı, could you please give us some information about your company Ağaçlı A.Ş.? Which sectors have you been in and how long have you been operating? Ağaçlı A.Ş. which was founded as a small gas station in Aksaray by Orhan Ağaçlı in 1964 has a long history of 50 years. Making a great contribution to the economy of the country as a result of large investments which were carried out as planned; Ağaçlı A.Ş. is the 167th largest company in Turkey. Ağaçlı A.Ş. is in an important position in services and tourism sector with its hotels and leisure facilities located on the main artery roads in Turkey and with effective tourism transportation fleet. It carries out sales and agency business of primary automotive brands in the world. It delivers branded fast moving consumer goods to many spots through a widespread fuel, food and retail distribution network in Turkey. It carries out the logistic support services professionally for our partner companies which globally proved themselves. Ağaçlı A.Ş. also produces trailer and loader in its large plants which was established through the high-tech investments in the industry. In addition, it shares half a century of experience with its all partners through the company’s expert staff and understanding of high quality by investing in grain technologies as well as grain storage and handling systems. As you mentioned above, you have entered into storage solutions business recently. Could you please give us some information about your storage solutions company Ağaçlı Silo? When and how it was founded? What is the reason behind your entering into storage solutions business? What was your target at that time? Centered in Aksaray Organized Industrial Zone, Ağaçlı Silo started infrastructure studies in 2015 after a long feasibility and preparatory process. The strong initiative that Ağaçlı A.Ş. started as a grain technology investment in the industry has become operational in 2016. Our world’s sources have been consumed rapidly as the population increases. Food industry is directly related with the fact that these sources are not used as planned. Storing agricultural products, which are consumed rapidly and produced restrictedly, under right conditions and for a long term, has of great importance. For this reason, we set off thinking that existing in the sector, being an alternative in the current market and as Ağaçlı Silo, gathering our partners with more innovative solutions. Could you please give us more details about your silo business? What can you say about the storage solutions that you produce production capacity and intended population (or the sectors you worked for)? Ağaçlı silo invested in the high-tech machinery that was integrated in every phase of production. In the production phases supported with quality assurance processes, detailed analyses and accurateness has of great importance. It never compromises on quality of products thanks to its specialists in their field. Ağaçlı Silo has steel processing capacity of 35 thousand tons per annum in its 100 thousand square meters factory area, half of it is closed. Ağaçlı Silo provides Professional solutions for flat-bottomed silos, conical-bottom silos, feed silos, their project designs and application in its grain storage product range. It produces professional conveyors for producers and entrepreneurs according to their needs in the area of chain conveyor, bucket elevators, silo bottom scrapers and silo unloading auger group. As Ağaçlı Silo, how have you come today since foundation? What is the target of your company in this market? The preparations for production, sales and marketing were completed by our specialized staff during the planned process by Ağaçlı Silo. Our works both local and foreign markets continue without pausing. Through contribution of all the congresses, seminars and trade shows that we participated as a company, nearly all our partners were informed about the unique approach and role of Ağaçlı Silo in the industry. Gain momentum rapidly, our company has already been supported by positive feedbacks of its partners, with its unique structure which is different from its local competitors; and it has a voice. While our plants which are delivered and put into operation work without any problem, we have other active projects of which production and mounting works continue. Do you have agencies in other countries? If you have, could you please give us some information about your agencies? We have formed our agencies on continent basis for initial process with short-term targets. We provide services in Middle East and Western Asia with our offices in Iran for now. Infrastructure works for our dealers and agencies continue globally as planned. We are able to provide services directly from our company when our agencies needed and in project cases that require special solutions. Could you please inform us about the new investments that you have realized or are planning to realize, about the technologies and solutions you would like to promote? Could you share the details with us if you have? We also have additional production plants within expansion except for silo and conveying equipment production plant area. Also the exhibition installation of our storage and conveying solutions on operating plant, which will be located in front of Ağaçlı Silo plant continue. Additional machine trails and investments continue rapidly; our R&D department works meticulously in order to increase efficiency in products. What kind of advantages and gaining you will have when a company prefers you for renovating its storage plant and installing a new plant? Through our R&D activities that we built in house and place great importance, we are targeting to be a leading and sample company which is globally renovated constantly; moves forward and is followed technologically.
