Turkish Grain Board (TMO) announced that it will start corn export with its public statement. These are included in the announcement by TMO: “By taking our 2013 season corn production that was realized more than the last year’s, corn intervention price was declared as 640 TL/ton on 7 August 2013 with the aim of preventing the formation of market prices at the expense of producers. With the announcement of the intervention prices, product supply to TMO has started and purchases continue well-arranged and smoothly. In the current purchase period; TMO has started operations to export the corn in stocks by taking supply, demand, and stock situation in the market into account. TMO will continue to arrange the markets and inform the stakeholders in the next process as it used to be.”
