Machinery Exporters’ Association (MEA) and Deutsche Messe Technology have signed a cooperation agreement that will make Turkey the third country to establish a Technology Academy.
MEA and Deutsche Messe Technology shook hands for a collaboration maintaining the technical partnership established in Germany. Turkish machine producers will be able to receive consultation from Germany with the agreement involving technology transfer and information interchange in the fields of Industry 4.0, digitalization, and automation. Machinery producers will benefit from all the training and consultancy services on technology, especially the Industry 4.0 applications at the academy in Hannover.
“The way to overcome the middle-income trap, which makes it difficult for the industry to find skilled labor, is to create a sustainable system for technological developments and investments. This collaboration will be an important step in this context. According to the agreement between Machinery Exporters’ Association and Deutsche Messe, the Technology Academy will be established in Turkey. The model developed in Hannover has been put into practice in Foshan, China in November. When it is commissioned, Turkey will be the third country to establish a Technology Academy after Germany and China. “ said Adnan Dalgakıran, President of the Machinery Exporters’ Association.
