SDAL, Al Ain Mills sign contract to grind wheat of Mleiha farm

Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL) has signed a contract with Al Ain Mills to grind the crop of Mleiha wheat farm.

The contract stipulated that the production of high-quality "Seven Sanabel" flour from the crop of the wheat farm in Mleiha, and the transportation, storage and production of flour, in addition to transporting the crop from the farm to the mills and sales outlets, and packaging and preserving it during transportation based on the internationally applicable storage specifications, the provision of qualified and required labor for the production of flour, and the maintenance of security and safety systems based on applicable laws, in addition to conducting laboratory tests and approved specifications for the "Seven Sanabel" flour product.

The contract was signed by His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, and Abdullah Al Hazaa, Executive Director of Al Ain Mills, in the presence of Naji Al Shuwaihi, Director of the Support Services Department, Nada Al Muaini, Director of the Internal Audit Office, Kamal Ali from the office of the department, Ali Al Hazaa, General Manager of the Mills, Idris Al-Hazza, Director of Operations, Yousef Al-Hazza, Director of Purchasing, Omar Muhammad, Director of Personnel Affairs at Al Ain Mills, Tariq Aziz, Advisor to Al Ain Mills, along with a number of employees of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock.

His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, stated that the signing of the contract to grind "Seven Sanabel" flour with Al Ain Mills comes in line with the vital partnership with the private sector, to enhance the level of efficiency in carrying out high-quality work in order to achieve preference for "Seven Sanabel" flour based on highest standards and international standards, in addition to discussing prospects of cooperation with all sectors to promote sustainable development in Sharjah, which aligns with the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.

For his part, Abdullah Al Hazaa, Executive Director of Al Ain Mills, said: "We congratulate His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for the success of the wheat farm located in Mleiha in Sharjah which is worked by national hands based on the highest international standards". Al Hazaa added that this cooperation comes between the government and private sectors to provide best practices according to international standards.
