On March 3, 2026, Satake Corporation officially marked its 130th anniversary, a milestone that underscores its role as a cornerstone of the global food supply chain. Operating in over 150 countries, Satake has evolved from a local pioneer into a global powerhouse, synonymous with precision, durability, and technological foresight.

Satake Corporation announced the celebration of its 130th anniversary. In 1896, the company's founder, Riichi Satake, developed and began production of Japan's first power-driven rice milling machine. Since that milestone, Satake has spent more than 130 years advancing technological innovation and manufacturing in the field of grain processing machinery, contributing to improved food quality and a stable food supply in Japan and around the world.

Through over a century of research and development in grain processing technology, Satake has grown into a global leader in grain processing equipment, with products and solutions now utilized in more than 150 countries.

In its official anniversary statement, Satake emphasized that its 130-year journey was a collective achievement. Acknowledging the role of its global network, the company stated: “The company's 130-year history has been made possible through the continued support and patronage of customers, partners, and stakeholders.
