Nibulon considers investment in grain transport, storage projects at Damietta Port

Ukrainian grain trader Nibulon is studying the possibility of investing in grain storage and transport projects in Damietta. Nibulon's specialists will study in detail the issues of the program for the revival of the Nile River as the transport artery of Egypt. NibulonThe Ukrainian grain trader Nibulon is considering an investment in grain storage and transport projects in Damietta port. In line with Egypt's policy to maximize benefits of the river transport system and activate the transport of goods via River Nile, Damietta Port has received a delegation from the Nibulon between March 31 to April 6. The Visit aimed to study the possibility of investing in transporting grain and establishing modern silos on the banks of the Nile in coordination with Egypt's River Transport Authority, the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and the Ministry of Irrigation. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, General Director of Nibulon, Oleksii Lalin, Director of Nibulon's shipping company inspected the grain handling stations and the areas offered for investments. Vadaturskyy praised the infrastructure of the port and the river transport system .He explained that the company has sufficient experience to replicate the Ukrainian model of fluvial transport of grain in Damietta port. Nibulon's specialists will study and discuss in detail the issues of the program for the revival of the Nile River as the transport artery of this country, in particular the conditions of navigation on the river, work of elevators, local logistics, etc. Nibulon has a good name in grain production world with more than 25 years of experience in grain related services such as storing, transporting and exporting. The company is one of the largest suppliers of Ukrainian grain to this country. In almost 10 years of cooperation with Egypt, Nibulon has exported almost 12 million tons of grain.
