Nibulon, the Ukrainian grain exporter, is building a grain and oilseeds handling complex in Nikolayev port. The elevator complex construction will be completed in mid-February.

Nibulon continues the large-scale construction project to build the elevator complex for shipment of grain and oilseeds as part of the transshipment terminal of 43 thousand tons. It was started in November 2017 with the support of the International Finance Corporation. It is planned to finish the elevator complex construction in mid-February and to finish the reconstruction of the cargo berth by March 1, 2018.
Currently, footing for four silos and the gallery have been completed. The installation of metal structures on the construction site is in progress, reports UkrAgroConsult. After the construction completion, the total storage capacity of the grain terminal will reach 173 KMT. The company will be able to store separately seven different crops simultaneously. The project is being implemented with the International Finance Corporation support, which provided the company with a long-term financing at USD 110 million. The operation of the new transshipment terminal in Nikolayev will enable the company to use its fleet that was built at Nibulon shipbuilding and repair yard more effectively. Upon construction completion of the elevator complex and berth, it will be used as a mode of transport to agricultural commodity and other cargoes.
