Lonca Makina Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. has launched its groundbreaking ELW 3D PRO radar level scanner during the prestigious İDMA EXPO in Istanbul. This state-of-the-art product integrates advanced technologies such as image processing, big data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, 3D point cloud conversion, 3D modeling, and cloud storage, marking a significant leap forward in material management and level measurement. The new radar level scanner brings customers faster, safer and smarter process control.

The ELW 3D PRO radar level scanner is designed to accurately detect 3D information of solid materials and buildup on silo walls. By employing high-frequency 140GHz microwave technology and a radar sensor equipped with motors capable of 360° rotation, the device provides comprehensive and precise measurements. “The measurement information is sent to the host through optical fiber/4G/5G. The host will analysis and calculate the data to obtain level and volume information and present visual three dimension image,” the company said in it press release.

The ELW 3D PRO radar level scanner is highly versatile, suitable for use in industries such as cement, metallurgy, mining, coal, grains, animal feed, ports, and pulp and wood. Its high-resolution inspection points, up to 16,200, provide detailed and accurate data, while its 180° x 360° all-round measurement capability ensures no dead zones.

Key benefits include:

Independence from dust, buildup, and noise

Real-time surface level, volume, and mass values

Generation of 3D images of material photographs

Alarm system for sidewall buildup to prevent structural clamping

 User-friendly software with powerful functionalities

Connectivity to other control modules for interlock control

 Simple installation process
