Glencore Agriculture acquires port terminal in Ukraine

Glencore Agriculture Limited, a global leader in the origination, handling, processing and marketing of agricultural commodities, has completed the acquisition of Everi port terminal in Ukraine.  Everi terminal facility has a static storage capacity of 160,000 metric tonnes (mt).

Glencore Agriculture Limited announced that it has completed the acquisition of Everi port terminal in Ukraine from Orexim group of companies. Everi is a leading vegetable oil export terminal in the city of Mykolaiv, Ukraine, offering storage and loading services to first class international and domestic clients.

“This acquisition reinforces our long term commitment to the agriculture sector in Ukraine and establishes Glencore Agriculture Limited as a key and reliable partner within the global vegetable oil supply chain. We are excited to operate a best-in-class asset and we remain committed to delivering high standards of service to Everi terminal customers,” comments Glencore Agriculture Limited CEO David Mattiske.

 Everi terminal facility was built in 2010 and last expanded in 2018. It has a static storage capacity of 160,000 metric tonnes (mt). The Everi port terminal has capacity to load up to 1.5 million mt of vegetable oil per year for export destinations.
