The strategic investment will propel Anchor to a leading position in the rapidly expanding pulse ingredient space. Anchor’s new pea fractionation facility will expand its capacity and help address the growing customer demand for plant based proteins. The facility will utilize the latest production technology and adhere to industry leading food safety guidelines while producing dry milled pea protein and pea starch. Construction has begun and the company plans to commission the plant in late 2017. The plant is expected to add additional pulse ingredients to Anchor’s growing portfolio of super premium ingredients.
