The International Grains Council (IGC) unveiled the agenda for the 2024 IGC Grains Conference, where over 400 industry leaders from around the world will convene on June 11-12 in London to explore critical issues and opportunities within the grains, oilseeds, pulses, and rice markets. With presentations from approximately 60 recognized expert speakers, delegates will address crucial topics, including the impact of climate change, protectionism, technological advancements, and trade finance on global food security.

The 2024 IGC Grains Conference will bring together more than 400 international industry leaders from across the entire supply chain to explore both the challenges and opportunities surrounding grains, oilseeds, pulses and rice markets. The conversation will be shaped by presentations from around 60 recognised expert speakers. Against the backdrop of an increasingly volatile trading environment, an open and extensive dialogue between all stakeholders is more than ever necessary.

With its focus on the significance of trade for food security, the IGC Grains Conference 2024 will provide a platform for policymakers and industry leaders to engage in meaningful discussions surrounding key challenges in relation to climate change, protectionism, technological advances, as well as trade finance. A special geographical focus will assess emerging trends and business opportunities in the grains and oilseeds sectors of Central Asia.

This premier event will feature sessions delving into topics such as dialogue between importers and exporters, identifying challenges for grains traders, trade finance and economic outlook, digitalization of the grains and oilseeds sector, productivity and sustainability, and changing dynamics in global trade flows.
