Lambton is Canada’s leading manufacturer of grain storage, handling and conditioning systems. It has over 50 years’ experience in the sector. Can you tell us about your company’s history in the industry? How your company developed over the years?
Lambton Conveyor Limited started as a small family owned storage and construction company in 1965. Initially the company operated from an unused poultry house and now it has over 200,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing facility in Wallaceburg, Ontario making it one of the largest manufacturers of galvanized grain storage, material handling and conditioning equipment in Canada. In 2004, Lambton added an addittional manufacturing facility in China, as well as a new engineering support office in India in 2017. These additional facilities allow Lambton to meet the global demand, providing support to customers and dealers all around the globe.
What kind of role and place does Lambton hold in its sector? What reputation does your company have in Canada and worldwide? In which countries do you have agencies, partners or offices?

We give design consultations and custom services to many markets: Feed, Seed, Food, Fertilizer, Grain (Farm), Grain (Commercial), Processing and Industrial. Can you give us some information about your production capacity and facilities?
Lambton Conveyor Limited manufactures: Grain Elevators, Grain Bins, Unload Augers, En-Masse Conveyors, Divided Pan Conveyors, Round and Level Bottom Conveyors, Tube Conveyors, Hopper Bins, Bulk Feed Tanks, Flow Accessories, Valves, Distributors, Feed Milling Equipment, Loop Systems, Grain Cleaners, Catwalks, Structural Support Systems, Custom Design and Fabrication Services. With storage capacities up to 20,000 MT and handling capacities up to 1,500 MTPH we use only standard GS115 galvanized steel to deliver long service life, low maintenence and the best value.

What are the criteria for the selection of handling systems in a milling facility for conveying raw materials? How can we choose the right handling system? What should be taken into consideration to ensure a more healthy and non-stop handling process?
Lambton provides grain handling equipment, some with self cleaning heads and boots to help you move your grains in and out of a facility. Our diverse product line plays a very important role in equipment efficiency. It is very essential to take into account the type of product to be conveyed and the system flexibility for all future extensions or additions.

Could tell us your ongoing projects?
We are currently supplying projects to many different areas and functions. We just completed a feed mill expansion in South America (pictures seen below, the facility is still under construction), while we are just getting ready to ship another complete site to the Asian market.
What are your future objectives in your field of operation?
We are constantly innovating our products according to the changing needs of the customers. Our objective has and always will be to provide grain solutions tailored to suit our customer’s requirements.
Looking to the future, what do you believe the challenges and opportunities are for the company? In which parts of the world you see demand for milling equipment?
With increasing world population and changing climate, food security is paramount now more than ever. According to FAO, “Demand for food and other agricultural products is projected to increase by 50 percent between 2012 and 2050.” To meet this ever growing demand, Lambton is dedicated to provide top-tier equipment to better your grain storage and maximize your productivity.
